as a "photographer" I have always loved to admire the works of others. Being introduced to sally mann in my photography course this semester I was instantly drawn to her images. for one she's a master at film, but her images have certain a provocativeness to them that you can't help look away. mann's "At Twelve" and "Family Pictures" series for one are perfect example of her mastery of the craft but her undeniable ability to photograph moments that are so pure and beautiful.
